PROJECT: LIVING LABORATORY WOODHAVEN SITE

Welcome to our first Living Laboratory site, repurposing the former Woodhaven golf course, located NW of 30 & 820 in the Woodhaven community of east Fort Worth, Texas. Econautics currently leases site G (ten acres), fronting on Randol Mill Road, with the intent to purchase this leased site and also A and H, for a total of forty acres at a purchase price of $3,000,000.

PROJECT: JOHN DEERE TRACTOR & IMPLEMENTS

To work the currently leased site G, bringing our living laboratory to fully functioning, we want to acquire a John Deere tractor with the necessary implements. Having the right equipment will allow us to plow, disc, harrow and prepare the soils on the site, also giving us the other implements for fence installation, moving dirt and materials, and mowing various areas of the site for regular maintenance.

We chose John Deere because they are an American company that aligns with the values and focus of Econautics. The equipment chosen will give years of reliable service on our living laboratory site and assist in successful urban farming practices.
